Zero Waste Journey UPDATE:

It's been a few months since my last post and I have expanded my zero waste essentials. These are the things I have bought to reduce my waste and the influence on environmental pollution. 

plastic toothbrush → bamboo toothbrush

plastic bags for fruits and vegtables → vegetable net

store bought deodorant → DIY deodorant (works perfect!)

disposable plastic straws → reusable stainless steel straws

This is my Zero Waste journey. I have started it about 10 months ago and I totally love it! This is a journey so not everything is perfect yet but I am trying to make it better every day. Here are some everyday things I swapped for reducing waste and helping the environment:

Plastic Bottle → reusable Glass Bottle

Plastic Bags → Cotton Bag

Tampons and Pads → Menstrual Cup

Toothpaste → Toothy Tabs

Shampoo in Plastic bottles → Hair Soap

Face Wash in plastic bottles → African Black Soap

Deodorant in plastic or aluminum bottles → Deodorant in glass bottle

There are still things I can swap for sustainable things but I still want to finish the things I still have instead of throwing everything out right now.
